14 February is usually the acknowledged date of Valentine’s Day but in Genting - City of Entertainment, romance made another special appearance on 24 August 2007 as the King of Romance himself, Engelbert Humperdinck, performed at the Arena of Stars as part of his 40th anniversary tour..

Fans - young and old, seasoned and new - thronged the Arena of Stars as the multi-platinum record selling, multi-Grammy nominated, Golden Globe-winning artiste thrilled them with renditions of his classics. The audience were cheering and singing along to songs such as “Quando, Quando”, “The Last Waltz”, “Man Without Love” and of course that seasoned favourite “Release Me”.
