A Christmas Feast

Food, glorious food... Christmas - the time for joy, the time for togetherness, the time for hope, the time for feasting. And nothing says Christmas more than the sumptuous and scrumptious treats that await people during this most special of days.

What is Christmas without the Christmas turkey? Introduced to British dining tables during Christmas time after Raleigh returned to America in the 16th century, it quickly replaced the goose and duck as the Christmas favourite.

Another great Christmas tradition from Britain would be the mincemeat pie, which actually has no meat at all! Another endearing treat is the Christmas Pudding, probably the most British of Christmas treats that have become popular throughout the Commonwealth.
