A World-Class Festival of Jazz

Jazz is probably one of the most eclectic forms of music around. Fast, slow, upbeat, mournful, bluesy...jazz comes in many types but the common denominator for all of them is good music.

On 8 - 9 June, the Genting International Showroom at Genting - City of Entertainment was filled with the beautiful, vibrant jazz music as 10 international performers gathered for the Genting International Jazz Festival.

On the night before the performance, a special party was held at the Safari Club to welcome all the performers to the City of Entertainment. Also present were high ranking executives of Genting - City of Entertainment, special guests and two guests of honour - H.E. Mr. Pedro Monzon Barata, the Ambassador of Cuba to Malaysia and H.E. Mr. S. Ngombane, the High Commissioner of South Africa to Malaysia.
