A Celebration at Chin Swee Temple

The Chin Swee Caves Temple at Genting Highlands was the venue of one of the biggest events of the year on 15 April when the founder of the Genting Group, Tan Sri Dato' Sri Lim Goh Tong celebrated his 90th birthday.

As one of Malaysia's most respected entrepreneurs, Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong was greeted by a throng of  well-wishers that included the Minister of Housing and Local Government, Dato' Seri Ong Ka Ting and Datin Seri Wendy Ong, senior members of the Genting Group and its subsidiaries, Chin Swee Caves Building Society temple members and other invited guests.

The highlights of the day were the unveiling of a statue of Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong by Dato' Seri Ong Ka Ting and the opening of the Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong Hall by Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong himself. Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong also donated RM600,000 to six charitable organisations.
