Brilliant Colors, Dazzling Light

Impressionism was the 19th century’s greatest artistic revolution and its artists were some of the finest ever. What made the impressionist art catch on like wildfire was the exceedingly beautiful way life got to be presented on canvas -  the vibrance and boldness of colours and the intense play of light that creates instant warmth comes together as a subconscious yet joyous celebration of all that is good in life and all that makes life worth living.

Impressionist art is a style in which the artist captures the image of an object as someone would see it if they just caught a glimpse of it. The brushstrokes are deft, quick, confident with memory-intensified colour and leaves scope for the imagination, which seduces the on-looker even more than the magical interplay of colour and light.
