A Celebration of Beautiful Women

The Genting International Showroom at Genting - City of Entertainment was the venue for a celebration of beauty on 26 October when it hosted the Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant 2007. Organised and produced by Astro Wah Lai Toi, the Miss Astro Chinese International Pageant is one of the most glamorous beauty pageants in the country and thus it was apt that it was held in no less an impressive surrounding as the Genting International Showroom.

Valued Genting WorldCard members were present at this prestigious by-invitation only event, which saw 10 women vying for the coveted title.

The winner of the pageant was Joanne Yew Hong Im, while Tiffany Hew Wan Ting and Emily Poon Pek Ling were the first and second runnersup respectively. For the title she received a RM30,000 grand prize, a Nissan Latio 1.8A and the opportunity to represent Malaysia at the Miss China International 2007 pageant in Hong Kong.
