The Ageless Melodies of Tsai Chin

There are some singers who burst on the scene and vanish as quickly as they arrived, and there are others who might last just a few years before disappearing back into obscurity. Then there are the chosen ones, those special breed of entertainers who are able to stay the course, and give years and years of joy and pleasure to the listening public.

One such person is the legendary Taiwanese diva - Tsai Chin who skyrocketed to fame in 1980 through the song Just Like Your Tenderness. She is able to run the whole gamut of emotions through her songs and just through the sheer power of voice alone, stir sentimental and moving memories in people.

Since her debut in 1979, Tsai Chin has cut 40 albums and won a myriad of awards including the Taiwan Jinding Awards, Golden Melody Awards, Hong Kong Top 10 Chinese Golden Songs Awards, and the CCTV-MTV Music Awards. More significant perhaps than all these prizes is the love and devotion she has engendered in the hearts of her fans.
