The 80’s music
scene has a universal appeal to people from all walks of
life, young and old, the hip and happening... in fact just
about everybody due to its strong beats, radical lyrics, a
fabulous combination of substance, real raw music and of
course, the larger than life singers of that time. It is then inevitable that we have something like
the Here & Now 2008 Tour (Best of the 80s).
Since its first leg in 2001 in Britain, it had been an
instant hit, making it one of the most successful high profile
tour of all the ongoing 80’s tours. Many of the artistes
featured were the movers and shakers of that decade, releasing
gems which have stood the test of time and shaped the current
pop and rock industry.
At once theatrical, innovative and producing some of the
best songs in music history, these artistes are back again
to entertain us at the in Genting - City of Entertainment on
21 and 22 March 2008. The stars of the 80s include Paul
Young, Bananarama, Johnny Hates Jazz, Limahl and Howard
Jones. |
